Sairam!

October 20th 1940 was a very important day in the Sai history. The day on which Sathya declared that He is not an ordinary boy but reincarnation of Shirdi Sai. The mission began for the betterment of the human kind and has been successful until today in transforming people to become better human beings.

Midrand Sai is having programmes such as value based song, choir,talks and bhajan by various age groups of SSE children as they are the torch bearers of this great mission. The practice session we had yesterday promises to awe the people who are going to be gathered in the satsang today. Most of us take many thing for granted. Here are a few steps to help us...

The fact is that you can be anything you really want to be- if you want it enough.

Step Out and shine

A few days ago I had an arguement with my friend. it was the first serious fight we have ever had. I was so angry at her. But one thing I never did was talk behind her back. I didn't say rude things about her. She was someone special to me. My mind didn't think anything bad about her.
The next day we completely ignored each other. We didn't even look at each other.
That evening I thought about it, I said to myself that I actully sarted that and I need to fix it. I phoned her and I pleaded her to forgive me. I told her I can not loose someone special or else my conscience will kill me. It will haunt me. She started laughing at me. And from that moment I knew she had forgiven me.

Lesson: When you start a problem you are responsible to fix it. Don't wait for someone else to fix your mess.

Everyboy wanted to go to aparty on Wednesday.We had a test on Thursday.I decided not to go but to study.In the end on Thursday (last period)I got the highest mark of all my friends,except Jaydon who got 55/70 and I got 59/70.
Thats how I stood out and shone.

STANDING OUT AND SHINING

Did you know that being kind to people is a good way of making friends. Of course you do! Well, this week I was very helpful to teachers and I got individual assistence from many of the teachers that I was not expecting. I now have more friends than I had noticed previously. This somehow has increased my confidence.

Be specific

Today I learned to be more specific when I ask something from Swami. He will give us what we ask for but the consequences may be terrible at times. 

Here is a quote "Life isn't about the choices you make but how you live with the choices you have made".

Swami puts us through a lot of tests and we have to learn how to manage with these tests.Never take things for granted.

I would just like to thank all those that help assist in this event and also to those that where there on Sunday. Im sure you guys would agree that it was a wonderful event.

Miracle

One night there was a break in at our complex. I felt so sorry for thoses people as they lost passports, laptops, ID and other valuble things. After the crime scene was cleared I went back to my house. I got into bed and was panicking. I felt unsafe.I was worried if the break in would happen next in my house. I was praying hard. I have a sticker on my head board where my pillow was. It was a sticker of Shiva and Shakthi getting married. I was praying to them. The next thing that happened was the head of shiva on the sticker curved down  and his eyes were straight on me. I fell into tears and I slept so peacefully. It was a sign that He was watching me. I was so happy. When I woke up there was a smile on my face. I would never forget that day!

Happy Spring Day + Ganesha Chaturthi

Happy spring day to all the people of midrand Sai. I hope Swami has blossomed a flower in each of your hearts. Remember Swami is sitting in that flower, he has renewed it if it has lost some petals so you can start of new. Today is also Ganesha Chaturthi, I pray that Ganesha removes all obsatcles that all of you have in your way so that you can start of spring in a happy way.

Thank god

Today I did my speech and I thought I would get a bronze. I prayed to Swami and guess what I got a Diploma. Thanks Swami
